Their La Verdad, a speedy 5-year-old mare, has been consistently winning on the New York circuit, earning nearly $1 million in the process. Now, the thrill of victory has spurred Rosenblum to get others involved \u2013 specifically women.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI said to myself, \u2018There must be other women who would love this too,\u2019\u201d Rosenblum said in a <em>New York Times<\/em> article. \u201cMaybe their kids are older now, or they just love racing or are looking f<a href=\"http:\/\/www.linda-rice.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/La-Verdad-Distaff-2015-4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1145\" src=\"http:\/\/www.linda-rice.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/La-Verdad-Distaff-2015-4-300x240.jpg\" alt=\"La Verdad Distaff 2015 - 4\" width=\"300\" height=\"240\" srcset=\"http:\/\/lindarice.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/La-Verdad-Distaff-2015-4-300x240.jpg 300w, http:\/\/lindarice.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/La-Verdad-Distaff-2015-4.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>or some camaraderie.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After assembling a syndicate called Lady Shelia Stable Two with a $100,000 buy-in last April, Rice and Rosenblum partnered to start Triumphant Trio, a syndicate with a much higher buy-in rate of $500,000.
